It’s a memory etched in my mind from the mid-1980s – out in a two-man row boat and catching the largest fish of the season at Lake Alexandrina with my Aunty Dalma. The photo is long gone, but how I felt as a smiling six-year-old – struggling to hold that trophy fish up, is a moment I will never forget.
